Lee Lange Receives MOAA’s Highest Member Service Award

Lee Lange was presented with the highest award the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) gives to its members—the Chairman’s Award at a monthly Chapter luncheon. The award was presented by Pete Kloeber of the MOAA National Board of Directors and Tom Sheets, Chapter President. Lee’s award certificate cites him for:

  • serving at MOAA Headquarters from 2001 to 2013
  • serving consecutively as the Arizona Chapter 2nd Vice President, 1st Vice President, and President
  • being the 2021 recipient of MOAA’s prestigious Colonel Steven Strobridge Legislative Chair Liaison Award
  • previously receiving MOAA’s Leadership and President’s Award
  • serving as the Legislative and Personal Services Chair of the Arizona Chapter
  • currently serving as the President of the Board of Directors of the Arizona Chapter Scholarship Fund

Pete Kloeber praised Lee for his “21 years of service to MOAA.” Tom Sheets called Lee a “national asset” and thanked him for his service on behalf of all Chapter members.
