1978 Lt. Colonel Paul M. Mudroch, USAF retired

 

Lt. Colonel Paul M. Mudroch, United States Air Force, retired, was born 8 Jun 1911 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.  He was the son of Annie & Paul Mudroch.  Colonel Mudroch enlisted in the United States Army on 18 July 1935.  Paul met his wife, Patricia Lou Bastone, when he was stationed in Virginia.

Colonel Mudroch was a veteran of World War II and in Korea, and was stationed in Germany after the war.  His last assignment before retiring was in Colorado Springs, Colorado, from 1956 until his retirement from the United States Air Force on 30 July 1960.

After retiring, Colonel Mudroch moved to Glendale, Arizona where he taught high school.  Paul was our 24th Chapter President, serving in 1978. Colonel Mudroch passed away on 26 March 2004 and is interned in Section B3 Row A Site 28 of the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 North Cave Creek Road Phoenix, AZ 85024.  Paul was survived by his son, Harvid Mudroch, and his wife, Patricia, who died 5 days later on the 31st of March. Services were handled by the Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary in Glendale.
