1973 Colonel Frank M. Wilkins, U. S. Army

 

Colonel Frank Mayo Wilkins was born on 3 May 1911 in Chicago, Illinois.  He attended the University of Illinois before joining the U. S. Army, serving during World War II and in Korea.

After he retired from the military, Colonel Wilkins moved to Arizona.  He retired again as the office manager for the Maricopa County Department of Medical Services.

Colonel Wilkins was our 19th Chapter President, serving in 1973.  In addition to his membership with MOAA, Colonel Wilkins was a volunteer for Scottsdale Health Care – Osborn (SHCO) Medical Center for 26 years.

Colonel Wilkins, of Scottsdale, a 40 year resident of Arizona, died 23 Dec 2004 and is buried with his wife, Isabel Gwinn Wilkins in Section 64, Site 3803, Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia.
